Lori has a keen interest in and love for teaching. She has been an instructor and preceptor for pharmacy students from Purdue University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Sciences and Butler University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as well as working with pharmacy residents from IU Health. In her work as preceptor and case conference instructor she seeks to find ways to help her students experience the “real world” effects of pharmacotherapy on specific diseases and to connect this with actual patient outcomes. In addition, she has taught courses in critical care pharmacotherapy and advanced cardiac life support at both universities. At IU Health–Clarian’s Respiratory Therapy Program, she was an instructor for cardio-respiratory pharmacology and drugs affecting circulation.
Lori and her husband enjoy international travel as their special time together.
